Inspired by her father Arthur Morris, one of the finest edge tool makers of his time, Eileen Winter and her husband Don founded Reedy Supplies Ltd in 1972.
Now a third-generation family business with a proud heritage in tool manufacture and supply, Reedy has a reputation as one of the best wholesalers of quality agricultural and horticultural hand tools and sundries in the UK, and is still based just a few miles from the forge in Dunsford, Devon where Arthur – and Reedy’s story – began.
Almost half a century later, Reedy Supplies Ltd is managed by Eileen and Don’s son-in-law Chris Greenman with help from his own son, Adam. Together with a small but dedicated team, they continue to source and supply the highest quality tools and accessories under four Reedy-owned brands:
Representing decades of knowledge and experience, the Compass agricultural tool range is built on quality and value. From ergonomic spades to traditional trowels, the collection is designed with high performance and durability in mind.
A unique range of high-end heritage garden tools designed to last a lifetime. Using lipped sockets and sustainably sourced, steambent ash handles, the range is inspired by those found in Adam’s grandfather’s shed and offers practicality as well as style.
A British-made classic and heavy-duty hosepipe range for the domestic, professional and agricultural markets. These fantastic quality hoses are kink-resistant and braided for extra strength.
A range of axes and striking tools that maximise productivity while minimising user fatigue. Built with cutting power in mind, the range has an in-house-designed splitting wedge at its heart that was proven to be 20% more efficient that anything else on the market.
